Description

  • This project aims to investigate the pioneering research area of networked medicine from the standpoint of healthcare social networks. The envisaged topics of research include (1) defining knowledge structure for discovering and collecting healthcare knowledge and experience from various sources such as the Web, Wikipedia, and clinical data, (2) extracting personalized information from life-logging sensors, smartphones, and social network services, and (3) building an infrastructure for developing healthcare social networks specialized to particular target diseases of public concerns such as diabetes or obesity.
